O7-08 Student Handbook

All students are required to attend an orientation session at a TRECA Digital Academy regional office prior to starting school. This session will last approximately 3 hours. You will be invited to an orientation once your application file is complete. Students are not enrolled in TDA until they attend an orientation.

The orientation session will give you the opportunity to meet some of our TRECA Digital Academy staff, to review the student handbook and to ask any questions you may have. You will also receive hands-on training on how to use various components of your computer and the TDA classroom environment. At the end of the orientation, students take home their computer equipment (computer, scanner, etc.). This will be your equipment to use throughout the academic year.

Please do not attend an orientation without prior confirmation from the TDA staff. If you attend without confirmation, your equipment may not be available and you may not be able to enroll in TDA that day. Confirmation is required since all equipment must be individually configured for your home location. Call our office at 888-828-4798, extension 238 to register for your orientation session.

Directions: TDA is located at the Mallard Square building in Marion, Ohio, which is approximately one hour north of Columbus off Route 23, just west of the intersection of Rt 23 and Rt 95. From the Rt 23 over Rt95 bridge, proceed west (towards downtown Marion) approximately a quarter mile and you will see the Mallard Square sign on the left side of the road (south side). The Mallard Square building is set back from the road. If you've gone past the Subway heading west, you've gone too far. The Orientations are held in the TRECA Learning Center at the southwest corner of the Mallard Square building. Click HERE for a map.
